Spiritual study groups in La Manzanilla!

Today our Sunday Spiritual Studies group had its first meeting of the season. We were 18 people from all over North America and Mexico who came together to break bread together, share our news and set our course for the season. During the summer months we scatter to our other homes. After the summer months apart, we gather together at our hub in La Manzanilla like spokes on the wheel, bringing our unique experiences and perspectives to one another.We share our favorite books, films and ideas with one another as we create our unique spiritual community.

Today through the beauty of cooperation, deep listening, respect and perseverance we chose our next course of study in the book:  “The Untethered Soul”, A Journey Beyond Yourself, by Michael Singer. Throughout the season we will gather, meditate, read and discuss this fine book. Our group is now starting its fourth year together and its numbers are growing. We are what we have been looking for!

On each Thursday  Casa Luz will offer a group study of  The Course in Miracles. This important, universal and revolutionary course is the foundation of many spiritual teachings including those of Eckhart Tolle and Marianne Williamson. It is a remarkable system of unlearning what we falsely believe to be “reality”. It is an essential teaching and a way to Truth, with a capitol T!
